With just over a week to go until the big day, Santa Claus has received the official green light to do his job Christmas Eve.
The big man in red received the go ahead from Canada’s chief medical officer of health Dr. Theresa Tam over a video chat on Wednesday.
Claus says he feels great and has custom masks, made by his elves, to fit his beard.
“Mrs. Claus and I have been self-isolating, in fact, we have been doing it for years. Many, many years.”
Santa also hinted that the nice list of children is a long one this year.
Transport Canada has also cleared Santa and his reindeer for takeoff in Canadian Airspace to deliver presents to children on Christmas Eve.
You can watch the full video chat below.
Parents, #Santa and I had a call to discuss his #ChristmasEve plan, and don’t worry – he’s cleared as an essential worker in Canada.
Santa also has a special message for all the kids out there. Watch it now: pic.twitter.com/3Wr2YOjmVs
