For the first time in more than five weeks, New Brunswick reported no new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Friday.
The last time the province had no new cases of the virus to report was on Remembrance Day.
Three more recoveries have brought the number of known active cases across the province to 52.
Public Health said three people remain in the hospital, including two people in intensive care.
Seventeen of the active cases are in the Edmundston health zone, while the Saint John and Fredericton health zones each have 14 cases.
The Moncton health zone has five active cases and the Bathurst health zone has two cases.
A total of 573 cases of COVID-19 have been identified in New Brunswick since early March.
