Public Health is reporting two new cases of COVID-19 Thursday.
The new cases were found in the Moncton and Bathurst health zones.
There are now 44 active cases in the province, the lowest total since November 18.
587 total cases have been discovered since the pandemic began, 534 of which have been deemed ‘recovered.’
Eight individuals have died due to COVID-19 in New Brunswick, while another person who had tested positive for the virus died due to an unrelated cause.
There is one COVID-19 patient in the intensive care unit.
All regions of the province are in the yellow phase of COVID-19 recovery.
