Residents and staff at a Saint John nursing home are expected to be retested for COVID-19 on Monday.
Shannex says testing is scheduled to take place for residents and staff at Parkland Saint John’s Tucker Hall.
There have been 24 confirmed cases at Tucker Hall over the past week or so, including 14 residents and 10 employees.
“We realize these are challenging times and would like to thank our team for their perseverance and the many acts of caring kindness they show residents everyday as we continue to navigate these difficult times together,” Shannex said in a statement Saturday.
The nursing home was also the site of an outbreak in November and December, which saw 20 people in a different part of the nursing home test positive for COVID-19.
The last case related to that outbreak was reported on Dec. 16.
