New Brunswick Public Health reported 19 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday.
One new death was also reported in Tucker Hall at Shannex Parkland Saint John.
The person who died was in their 70s and died as a result of underlying complications, including COVID-19.
There have now been 12 COVID-related deaths to date, including three at Parkland Saint John.
The 19 cases are located in the following zones:
Zone 1 (Moncton region): 1
Zone 2 (Saint John region): 5
Zone 3 (Fredericton region): 3
Zone 4 (Edmundston region): 8
Zone 5 (Campbellton region): 1
Zone 6 (Bathurst region): 1
Zone 7 (Miramichi region): 0
New Brunswick now has 230 active cases of COVID-19, with seven more recoveries reported since Tuesday.
Three people are currently in hospital but no one is in intensive care.
