East Side Mario’s in Saint John has temporarily closed its doors after someone that was in the restaurant last weekend was diagnosed with COVID-19.
The restaurant on the east side of the city announced Friday evening it would be closed for “at least the next 48” hours after being contacted by Public Health.
In a comment beneath the original post, the restaurant said the exposure occurred Saturday and Sunday.
The post also said that Public Health would contact anyone who was potentially exposed to the virus.
The restaurant will undergo a “deep cleaning and sanitization” and all employees will isolate until they have been cleared by Public Health.
