Environment Canada says temperatures will be as much as five degrees cooler than normal for the rest of the week.
Daytime highs in the Saint John area normally hover around -3°C this time of year.
But we are only expecting highs of between -6°C and -9°C from Wednesday through Saturday. The high on Sunday will approach -4°C.
Overnight lows are expected to range between -15°C and -20°C from Tuesday night through Thursday night, several degrees below the normal overnight low of -13°C.
The latest forecast from Environment Canada shows temperatures will return to more seasonal values on Sunday.
