Parents of Princess Elizabeth School students were informed of a positive COVID-19 case at the school Monday.
An email sent to parents said Public Health contact tracers are currently working to identify possible close contacts of the case.
The Saint John school will remain open on Tuesday.
Anyone who is deemed a close contact of the confirmed case will be notified by Public Health.
Princess Elizabeth is the fifth school in the district to report a confirmed case of the virus in the past week.
Other schools include Quispamsis Middle School, Millidgeville North School in Saint John, Belleisle Elementary School in Springfield, and Kennebecasis Valley High School in Quispamsis.
