Saint John Police have recovered a stolen guitar worth more than $5,000.
A statement from police said staff at Long & McQuade on Rothesay Avenue reported the theft back in November.
A few weeks later, police picked up a suspect on an unrelated matter, who then confessed to stealing the guitar before selling it.
The guitar was found after it was posted on an online buy and sell ad, and officers were able to recover it.
Police say the suspect has been scheduled for a court date.
