The province announced seven new cases of COVID-19 were discovered Sunday.
Five of the new cases were reported in Zone 4, the Edmundston health zone, which remains in lockdown.
The other two cases were found in the Moncton and Fredericton regions.
25 additional patients recovered Sunday, bringing the province’s active case number to 203. That’s the lowest active caseload since January 10.
Public Health also announced an outbreak at a special care home in the Edmundston region has been declared over.
Le Pavillon Le Royer had just one confirmed case in late January. A release from the province indicated all staff and residents have since tested negative several times.
There have now been 1,344 cases of COVID-19 in the province since the pandemic began, and 20 people have died as a result.
Seven New Brunswickers are currently in hospital battling the virus, and two of those patients are in the intensive care unit.
