Residents who park their vehicle on the street in Saint John’s South/Central Peninsula will need to make alternate arrangements Monday night.
The city has declared a temporary overnight on-street parking ban from 11 p.m. Monday until 7 a.m. Tuesday.
Any vehicles left on the street during that time will be ticketed and/or towed at the owner’s risk and expense.
Six Parking Commission parking lots will be available for use after 6 p.m., including:
- Corner of Princess and Canterbury streets (entrance on Canterbury Street)
- Corner of Duke and Sydney streets
- Peters Street
- Carmarthen Street (Vineyard Church)
- Corner of Charlotte and Queen streets at Key Industries (entrance on Queen Street)
- Water Street
Vehicles must be moved from the lots by 7 a.m. Tuesday in order to avoid being towed.
You can also park at the Peel Plaza parking garage between 6 p.m. and 8 a.m. for $5.
