Chris Keevill has left the top job at the Atlantic Lottery Corporation, less than a year after being named the organization’s president and CEO.
Atlantic Lottery’s board of directors announced today Patrick Daigle will take over the role on an interim basis after Keevill resigned “to return to the private sector.”
Before his short time at Atlantic Lottery, Keevill was the CEO of the Halifax digital creative agency Colour.
Daigle has been with Atlantic Lottery since 1997, most recently serving as the Crown corporation’s chief financial officer.
“Patrick is a well-respected and accomplished executive leader at Atlantic Lottery, and we appreciate him stepping into this role,” said Sean O’Connor, the chair of Atlantic Lottery’s board of directors, in a news release.
O’Conner also thanked Keevill “for his contributions to Atlantic Lottery over the past several months.”
He added that the board will begin an executive search process for a permanent CEO “in the coming months.”
