Newfoundland and Labrador is dealing with a massive spike in COVID-19 cases.
Health officials in that province announced 100 new confirmed cases on Thursday.
About three-quarters of those cases involve people under the age of 20.
There have been 194 cases announced since Monday, accounting for nearly all of the province’s current active cases.
More than 60 schools in the St. John’s area are closed for the rest of the month while officials have postponed this weekend’s provincial election in parts of the province.
