The province is looking to give ten more people its highest honour.
Nominations for the Order of New Brunswick are open until April 15.
The award recognizes current and former long-term Canadian citizens in the province who have contributed to the economic, cultural and social wellbeing.
The awards will be given out on New Brunswick Day on August 2nd by Lieutenant-Governor Brenda Murphy.
“In my role, it has been a privilege to meet so many amazing New Brunswickers from across the province, each with unique perspectives and life experiences,” said Murphy.
“There are so many exceptional individuals who deserve to be recognized for making our province a more vibrant and inclusive place. I encourage you to honour the achievements of those who stand out for their continued contributions to our province by nominating them for the Order of New Brunswick.”
The Order was established in 2000 and to date has more than 180 individuals recognized.
