One new case of COVID-19 was announced in New Brunswick Monday.
That marks the province’s eighth consecutive day reporting two or fewer cases.
Monday’s new case was an individual in their 30s in the Miramichi region.
Public Health announced three more people had recovered Monday, and there are now 36 active cases province-wide.
That’s a drop down from 84 active cases on Monday, February 22.
There are two COVID-19 patients in New Brunswick hospitals, and both are in the intensive care unit.
Monday also brought an update on the province’s COVID-19 vaccine rollout.
12,142 New Brunswickers have received both doses of the vaccine, and 33,741 total doses have been administered.
There are 13,034 vaccines in reserve, and 46,775 shots have been received to date.
