Public Health announced one new COVID-19 case Tuesday, and reported an additional death.
The death was a resident of Manoir Belle Vue, an adult care facility that has been battling an outbreak in Edmundston.
Tuesday’s lone new case was travel-related, and involved someone in their 60s in the Bathurst area.
The province also announced a revised case count, after a COVID infection previously reported in the Fredericton health zone was accounted for in another province.
There have now been 1,460 cases of the virus since the pandemic began, and 35 active cases remain province-wide.
There are three New Brunswickers in hospital battling the virus, two of whom are in the intensive care unit.
