The City of Saint John is setting up portable speed display signs to help calm traffic.
According to a news release, the signs will go up where residents have expressed concern about speeding.
The signs will collect speed data and encourage motorists who are speeding to slow down to the posted speed limit.
The city’s traffic calming policy will be applied in some areas if more permanent measures are needed.
Residents are asked to contact the city’s customer service centre if they would like to be part of this program.
