A veteran Quispamsis councillor says he is putting his name forward again in this May’s election.
Eight-term council member Emil Olsen has held several roles over the past nearly four decades.
Olsen has served four terms on Quispamsis council since 2004, which included one term as deputy mayor from 2008 to 2012.
He also spent four terms as mayor of pre-amalgamation Quispamsis from 1983 to 1995.
Olsen signed the original regional agreements for fire, police and library services on behalf of Quispamsis residents.
Some of his priorities have included a municipal water system, affordable housing, apartments, accessible paved trails, sidewalks, paving of roads and lighting.
Voters will head to the polls on May 10.
