There’s a new councillor candidate announcing their run in Quispamsis.
Mike Biggar is looking to join the town council.
Biggar is an award-winning roots and blues artist, and Quispamsis resident for the past 15 years.
“I want to help strengthen council efforts to foster the progressive spirit, burgeoning residential and business growth, responsible fiscal stewardship and the top-notch quality of life we all value so highly here in Quispamsis,” said Biggar.
He said the past 10 years establishing his career as a professional artist has given him firsthand knowledge of the challenges of small business.
“We have so much to be excited about here in Quispamsis – most of all the welcoming, progressive, forward-thinking residents. I am excited at the prospect of joining the team!”
Biggar also notes his experience in banking and ministry as knowledge he can draw on for the role.
