An incumbent councillor from Ward 4 has thrown his hat into the ring once again.
Ray Strowbridge will seek re-election when New Brunswickers head to the polls on May 10.
Strowbridge was first elected in 2012, before winning his seat again in 2016.
Now, he hopes to continue the work of the current council with a re-election win this spring.
Strowbridge says he’d like to continue lobbying the province for tax reform and legislation to reduce the municipal tax rate.
He believes the city has turned a corner with lower debt, and the highest residential construction rates on record, and he wants to keep Saint John moving down that path.
