A six-term councillor in Quispamsis is looking for another four years around the council table.
Beth Thompson has announced she is seeking re-election in the upcoming municipal elections.
Thompson said she is re-offering because there are many projects to finish and many others to begin.
She said her main priorities are street paving, reasonable tax rates and growth, and maintaining the identity of Quispamsis.
“Our town is the best place I know of to live and thrive,” Thompson said in an email.
Thompson was first elected in 1997 as part of the transitional council which oversaw the amalgamation of the former municipalities of Quispamsis, Gondola Point and a portion of the Rothesay Parish.
Quispamsis residents will elect seven councillors and a mayor when they head to the polls on May 10.
