Another person has stepped forward in the hopes of becoming a councillor on the Grand Bay-Westfield town council.
Stephanie McIntosh Lawrence said she’s running because she’s a big supporter of small town living.
She said her priorities if elected would include more affordable housing and to help come up with a solution for responsible growth commercially and residentially.
McIntosh Lawrence said she wants to revisit the Active Transportation Plan to build a safe sustainable trail system for walking, running and biking.
She has worked as a radiation therapist for the past 25 years treating cancer patients and part of that time was spent in management as clinical coordinator.
McIntosh Lawrence said she wants to see the town, landowners and developers come up with a solution for growth in Grand Bay-Westfield.
She has volunteered for organizations like the Dalhousie Medical School Volunteer Patient Program.
She works as a radiation therapist and has volunteered for organizations like Big Brothers/Big Sisters and the Saint John Ambulance Pet Therapy Program.
