Frank James is a fourth-generation Saint Johner looking to become a councillor in Ward 3.
James previously ran in the 2019 byelection to replace Gerry Lowe.
On his campaign site, he lists citizen engagement as his number one priority – pushing for residents to participate in public feedback surveys.
James says as a councillor he’d also want to connect residents to the technological innovations he’s seen around the city.
He believes the city has done a good job of preserving its history but says it’s important to grow by bringing new construction that complements Saint John’s older architecture.
Residents head to the ballot box on May 10.
