Officials in Nova Scotia are telling residents to stay close to home.
It comes as the province recorded 115 new cases this weekend, including 63 on Sunday.
Dr. Robert Strang, chief medical officer of health, said do not travel outside of your community unless it’s essential.
“If you live up in Inverness, stay within Inverness. If you live in the Berwick area, stay in the Berwick area.”
Strang says this doesn’t apply to those travelling to work or if you have a legal appointment.
Premier Iain Rankin also announced that fines are going up.
If you exceed gathering limits, you will receive a $2,000 fine, up from $1,000.
