Narrative Research has released a study in which 58 percent of Canadians say they will get a COVID-19 vaccine when it becomes available to them.
Fifteen percent of residents say they haven’t received a shot and don’t plan to get one.
Meantime, while most respondents said they had never been tested for COVID-19, three in ten said they had been.
Across the country, Nova Scotia and Quebec were most likely to have been tested.
While most say they were asymptomatic, New Brunswickers and Newfoundlanders were most likely to have had symptoms when they were tested.
Higher-income earners and those under age 35 were more likely to get a test compared to anyone older than that.
More than 1200 Canadian adults took part in the online survey earlier this month (April 13-16).
