Conor Vienneau hopes to represent Saint John’s Ward 2 in the next session of council.
A self-described young professional, Vienneau is a full-time curriculum developer who also manages apartments in the Milledgeville area.
In a video posted to his campaign’s Facebook page, he lists increased development, fair taxes, and better business as his three-pronged campaign platform.
He says the provincial government is in the way of tax reform, as municipalities don’t have the ability to change the tax system.
Vienneau says he would use council’s high-profile platform to rally citizens to push for tax reform by using a social media campaign called Unified Front Saint John.
