Nova Scotia reported 133 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday.
There were 117 cases in Central Zone, nine cases in Eastern Zone, one case in Northern Zone, and six cases in Western Zone.
Community spread is confirmed in the Central Zone.
The Eastern, Northern, and Western Zones continue to be closely monitored for community spread.
Meantime, 148 cases were announced on Saturday as labs cut through a backlog of thousands of tests.
There are 822 active cases across the province. Thirty-four people are in the hospital, including six in intensive care.
On May 1st, Nova Scotia Health Authority labs completed 15,832 tests.
