The 2021 federal census has arrived.
Statistics Canada has sent out census cards to every household, with most Canadians getting theirs early this week.
Inside, you’ll find a code to enter online to complete the questionnaire on their website. If you prefer to complete the census on paper you need to call 1 (877) 885-2021, enter the code in the packet and follow the instructions.
The census questions only take a few minutes to complete and have to do with the age and makeup of your household.
Stats Can says the information is important and used to plan services that support your household and your community.
They do add that completing the questions is required by law and that your answers are confidential.
The due date for the 2021 Census is May 11th.
