Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is defending all Health Canada approved vaccines.
This comes after recommendations from the National Advisory Committee on Immunizations (NACI) caused some hesitancy amongst Canadians surrounding the Johnson and Johnson vaccine.
“Every vaccine administered in Canada is safe and effective as evaluated by Health Canada,” said Trudeau.
The Prime Minister also indicated in his Tuesday conference that a million Moderna doses will be in Canada Wednesday morning.
The country is expecting three million doses from Pfizer and Moderna this week and will pick up another two million Pfizer doses each week in May.
