You may want to think twice about heading to the Saint John Regional Hospital for non-urgent care today.
The Horizon Health Network said the hospital’s emergency department is currently experiencing “high volumes” of patients.
In a tweet posted shortly after 12:30 p.m. Friday, the health authority encouraged people to think about their options for receiving care.
That includes visiting your local pharmacist or after-hours clinic, or calling Tele-Care 811.
