Public Health announced 11 new COVID-19 cases Sunday.
The cases break down across the following health zones:
- Two cases in Zone 1 (Moncton region)
- One case in Zone 2 (Saint John region)
- Four cases in Zone 3 (Fredericton region)
- Four cases in Zone 6 (Bathurst region)
Three of the cases are travel-related, three are contacts of a previous case, and five are under investigation.
Eleven New Brunswickers are hospitalized with COVID-19, though four of those patients are in other jurisdictions. Two patients are in an intensive care unit.
The province says more than 47,000 New Brunswickers were vaccinated over the past week, including a record 11,535 on Friday.
More than 46 per cent of New Brunswickers over the age of 12 have received at least one dose of the vaccine.
