Public Health confirmed another death from COVID-19 involving a person over the age of 90 in the Bathurst region, bringing the number of deaths to 43.
There are eight new cases including one in the Saint John region, six in the Fredericton zone, and a single new case in the Edmundston area.
Twelve people recovered since Tuesday bringing the number of active cases to 116.
Seven people are in the hospital in New Brunswick, with three of them in an intensive care unit.
Four New Brunswick residents are in out-of-province hospitals, including one person in ICU.
More than 339,000 New Brunswickers have now received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
That accounts for nearly 49 per cent of the roughly 693,000 eligible New Brunswickers aged 12 and older.
More than 33,000 people in New Brunswick now have both doses of the vaccine.
The province is expecting to receive more than 75,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine this week.
Starting Wednesday, anyone travelling between New Brunswick and Nova Scotia at Sackville-Amherst and at Baie-Verte-Tidnish Road may see increased screening measures.
To avoid delays, travellers entering the province need an approved New Brunswick Travel Registration and any supporting documentation.
Travel between Nova Scotia and New Brunswick is still restricted.
Before leaving this province, make sure you are permitted to travel and check the travel restrictions in your destination.
People who consistently travel between the two provinces could be eligible for a special pass to expedite travel during peak traffic periods.

Public Health has added more potential public exposure locations in the Frederiction region:
- Irving Big Stop Blue Canoe restaurant, 415 Nevers Rd., Waasis, on Friday, May 14, between 10:30 a.m. and noon.
- Pizza Delight, 243 St. Mary’s St., Fredericton on Friday, May 14, between noon p.m. and 2 p.m.
COVID-19 testing is available for any New Brunswickers in a public exposure area even if they are not experiencing any symptoms.
