A 62-year-old man has died after being hit by a vehicle while riding a bicycle on Crown Street last Friday.
Police say Philip MacMillan died from his injuries on Thursday at the Saint John Regional Hospital.
Just before 2 a.m. Saturday, a Saint John police officer located the vehicle believed to have been involved in the hit-and-run.
Police say the vehicle’s driver has since been identified.
The Major Crime Unit continues to investigate and police say charges are anticipated.
The Saint John Police Force offered condolences to MacMillan’s family during this difficult time.
