In the news today (June17) we found out that Covered Bridge Chips will have Donair Chips on store shelves in July. Hooray another flavour to keep the Ketchup, BBQ, Roast Chicken and all the rest company in the cupboard but not for long. Chips are my weakness and Donair chips won’t last long.
When I heard about the new flavour my mind went back a number of years when we had standing orders from friends of ours who lived in the state of Maine not to forgot the Ketchup chips. The must bring list also included Smarties and Clamato juice, products at that time not available state side. I always found it amusing that the land of cool stuff did not have these yummy foods. It just proves one thing Canadians have better taste.
