New Brunswickers who received their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine before May 15 can now book their second dose.
The province will continue to expand its vaccine rollout on Monday when all New Brunswickers can book their second shot as long as 28 days have passed since their first jab.
COVID-19 vaccines have now reached the arms of 75.9% of New Brunswick’s eligible population, with 15.9% fully vaccinated.
Public Health reported three new cases of COVID-19 on Friday, June 18.
All of the cases were individuals from the Fredericton region and are contacts of previously confirmed cases.
A revision has been made to the case count after a lab identified a false positive in the Moncton region.
There are 54 active cases of COVID-19 in the province, the lowest mark since March 21. Six New Brunswickers are hospitalized with the virus, including two in an intensive care unit.
