Harvest Jazz & Blues, one of New Brunswick’s largest music festivals, is returning this summer.
General manager Jeff Richardson made the announcement in a social media video Monday morning.
“I want to let you know that the path to green is the path to Harvest,” Richardson said in the 35-second video.
The 30th edition of the festival is scheduled to take place from Sept. 14 to 19, 2021.
More details about this year’s event are expected to be released on June 30.
“We’re looking forward to getting back to normal to welcome you downtown for some great live music and lots of good community,” said Richardson.
Harvest was one of many festivals and events cancelled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Another one of those festivals, AREA 506 in Saint John, announced it will also return this year.
Organizers are planning 10 outdoor concerts over the course of five weeks, between July 16 and Aug. 14, rather than the usual three-day event.
Big news coming! We are so pleased to announce that Harvest is taking place this September 14-19th! Stay tuned for our launch on June 30th! 🎉🎉 pic.twitter.com/y8xozqUKMT
