A former New Brunswick MP has been appointed to the Roosevelt Campobello Island Park Commission,
Karen Ludwig is one of two new Canadian Commissioners appointed to the commission this week.
“The Park is not only a symbol of deeply committed friendship between nations, it is the only international Park funded by two countries in the world,” Ludwig said in a news release Tuesday announcing her appointment.
Ludwig served as the Liberal MP for New Brunswick Southwest from 2015 until 2019.
She is currently the vice-president for growth initiatives at Yorkville University in Fredericton.
Michel Doiron of Shediac was also appointed as a Canadian Commissioner alongside Ludwig.
