Health officials in New Brunswick have now administered two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine to 47.5 per cent of the population.
According to a government news release, Public Health says 79.1 per cent also have at least one dose.
New Brunswick Public Health also reported no new cases of the virus on Friday afternoon.
There have been two new recoveries, bringing the province’s total number of active cases down to seven.
Two New Brunswickers are in hospital, but none are in intensive care units.
A total of 724 tests have been conducted since Thursday.
Vaccination clinics
New Brunswick will continue to offer mobile vaccination clinics next week.
The provincial government is working with Extra-Mural/Ambulance New Brunswick and other government partners to organize the mobile vaccination clinics, which will offer the Moderna vaccine.
Those attending a clinic are asked to bring their Medicare card, their vaccination record for the second dose and a signed consent form.
If you received a different vaccine as your first dose, you can still receive Moderna for your second dose due to the vaccines being interchangeable.
