New Brunswick has fully vaccinated 57.9% of the eligible population after 6,947 second doses were administered on Friday.
First dose vaccinations experienced minor movement, improving to 80.4%, according to figures from Public Health.
The province remains over 118,000 second doses away from fully vaccinating 75% of New Brunswickers 12 and older. Once this threshold is achieved, the mandatory order will be lifted, and provincial pandemic restrictions will be removed.
After two consecutive days of new COVID-19 cases, Public Health is reporting no new cases on Saturday.
The province’s active case count remains at eight, with no new recoveries.
