New Brunswick Public Health reported four new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday.
There was one new case in the Saint John region. The person in their 80s is a contact of a previous case.
The other three cases are in the Bathurst health zone and are related to travel. Two people are under 19 and the other is in their 40s.
New Brunswick now has 12 active cases with no new recoveries reported since Wednesday.
A total of 580 COVID-19 tests had been conducted since Wednesday.
Vaccine update
More than 5,900 doses of a COVID-19 vaccine were administered in New Brunswick on Wednesday, according to Public Health.
The latest figures released Thursday morning show nearly 4,900 people received their second dose of a vaccine.
A total of 66.1 per cent of eligible New Brunswickers are now fully vaccinated, up from 65.4 per cent a day earlier.
Meanwhile, 81.9 per cent of eligible residents now have at least one dose of a vaccine, with just over 1,000 getting their first dose Wednesday.
A series of mobile vaccination clinics are taking place throughout the province for those who have not yet received their first or second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
