New Brunswick drivers will be paying more to fill up their vehicle’s fuel tank as of Thursday.
Gas and diesel prices are up after the weekly setting by the New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board.
Regular self-serve is now selling for a maximum of $1.405 per litre, an increase of just over a cent.
Diesel prices also climbed by 1.5 cents to a new maximum price of $1.388 per litre.
Most local stations are selling both fuels for a few cents less.
One year ago, regular self-serve was selling for a maximum of $1.007 per litre while diesel was going for $1.028 per litre.
The price for furnace oil also went up this week by 1.5 cents to a new maximum of $1.205.
Propane is now selling for a maximum of $1.156, a drop of one-tenth of a cent.
Fuel prices are reset every Wednesday night in New Brunswick.
