The University of New Brunswick has changed course and will now implement a mandatory vaccination and testing policy for the new school year.
Students, faculty and staff must be fully vaccinated with two doses of an approved vaccine.
Those who are unvaccinated must take part in regular COVID-19 testing.
More information on the policy including dates for first and second doses and testing requirements will be revealed next week after more consultation with Public Health.
UNB “strongly encourages all students, faculty and staff to be vaccinated as soon as possible” and “maintain copies of their vaccination status”.
