The City of Saint John is seeking feedback from those who took part in its Waste Wise pilot program.
The curbside recycling pickup pilot took place in two communities: Rockwood and Latimore Lake.
City officials say letters have been delivered to the more than 1,000 residents with a direct link to the survey.
You can also pick up a paper copy of the survey on the ground level of City Hall.
Residents of the neighbourhoods were given a 180-litre cart for waste, a green bin for plastic and metal, and a blue bin with a lid for paper, cardboard, and boxboard.
The three bins were to be left out in the usual waste pickup location. Any bags with waste that did not fit in the 180-litre cart had to be marked with a “bag tag.”
Eight tags were provided for each household participating in the pilot, but they will cost residents $2 extra per tag once the project is implemented.
Results of the pilot project will come before council, though no dates have been given for when that will happen.
The deadline to fill out the survey is Sept. 3.
