Another part of the $205-million west side modernization project at Port Saint John is about to begin.
Port officials say pile driving will begin next week in Long Wharf Slip to support the construction of a breakwater.
Officials said Friday that the work will take place intermittently over the next six months.
When pile driving is occurring, it will happen seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The new breakwater will become part of a small craft facility being built to ensure safe operations for small commercial work boats and resident fishing vessels.
