Do not be surprised to see more emergency vehicles than usual in Musquash on Saturday.
Emera New Brunswick says it will be holding a mock emergency exercise between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
The exercise will take place along the Brunswick Pipeline right-of-way on Talbot Road.
“Mock exercises are routine and provide emergency responders and Emera New Brunswick employees the opportunity to test our emergency response plans and interagency communications practices in a simulated emergency scenario,” Emera said in a news release.
Officials said no traffic disruptions are anticipated and no natural gas will be released during the exercise.
Musquash Fire-Rescue and the New Brunswick Emergency Measures Organization will also be taking part in the exercise.
