A possible bomb threat called into UNB forced the evacuation of both campuses and other locations on Friday.
A news release from the Fredericton Police Force said they were informed of the threat by UNB security shortly after 12 p.m. on Friday.
It did not specify which campus was the target of the threat.
Following university safety policies and procedures, all UNB campuses were evacuated while police searched for anything considered to be suspicious.
The campus at UNB Fredericton was closed until midnight on Friday. It is now open.
Police are still looking into what happened.
No charges have been laid.

Members of the Saint John Police Force responded to the campus of UNB Saint John just before 1 p.m on Friday where an evacuation took place.
The police force issued a news release on Saturday where they offered thanks to the students, faculty and the public for their cooperation with the evacuation.
