Several people were displaced by an overnight fire on the west side.
The blaze damaged a two-storey house containing two apartments on Guilford Street.
No one was injured in the fire.
The blaze was contained quickly but electricity had to be cut to the structure for cleanup and repairs.
Volunteers from the Canadian Red Cross arranged emergency lodging and funds to purchase food and other basics for a couple and four children living in one apartment.
The people living in the other apartment are staying with relatives or friends but will be offered similar Red Cross help should they need it.
