Some students in Charlotte County have been getting to school or back home much later than usual over the past few days.
Several bus runs in the St. Stephen Education Centre have experienced frequent delays since the school year started last Tuesday.
As of Tuesday afternoon, four different bus runs had been delayed at least three of the past six days.
The delays have impacted students in the St. Stephen, St. George, Blacks Harbour, and Grand Manan areas.
Our newsroom requested an interview with the Anglophone South School District to discuss the delays and the reason behind them.
Spokesperson Jessica Hanlon said the district is dealing with some “personnel issues” in the area and that any delays should be sorted out “very soon.”
