Here is your chance to learn more about the operations at the Point Lepreau Nuclear Generating Station.
Officials will be holding an information session for residents in the St. George area on Thursday night.
Dominique Couture, a spokesperson with NB Power, said it is part of their public engagement initiatives to ensure communities are kept informed.
“It’s an opportunity for members of the public to come in and ask questions to station personnel, find out more about how we run the station,” Couture said.
Similar sessions were held in Dipper Harbour and Saint John earlier this summer, said Couture.
Officials from ARC and Moltex Energy will also be in attendance to discuss small modular reactors.
The information session will take place at Magaguadavic Place in St. George from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
