The film series presented by TIFF Film Circuit Saint John has moved its screenings to Imperial Theatre.
Pauline Cronin, co-chair of the Film Circuit, said the response to the move to uptown has been overwhelming.
“And really, really grateful, their opening words over and over were, ‘thank you so much for bringing this series to us,’ I couldn’t believe it.”
The series is in addition to Imperial Theatre’s film program which includes retro film nights, a planned global film series, and independent and Canadian-produced films.
The first film moviegoers will get to watch is ‘Minari,’ screening on October 7 at 7 p.m.
A portion of each ticket will go to a scholarship fund for those involved in filmmaking in the greater Saint John area.
